Doha International Sustainable Energy Conference 2018

In a world of smart energy solutions and big data, where energy efficiency and conservation will be crucial in helping us satisfy global energy demand, the Doha International Sustainable Energy Conference will provide participants with an excellent return on investment. It offers a far-reaching and diverse programme, one which has been shaped by energy professional and which will deliver exceptional insight, creating the perfect conditions to network and develop new business opportunities.

THE DOHA INTERNATIONAL SUSTAINABLE ENERGY EXHIBITION & CONFERENCE is a bi-annual gathering for the clean energy and power generation industry, coming from around the world to meet in Doha. The Conference will focus on how to tackle the dual challenges of a rising global demand for energy and the threat of climate change to our globally interconnected ecosystem. DOHA INTERNATIONAL SUSTAINABLE ENERGY EXHIBITION & CONFERENCE will bring together regional and international industry stakeholders to discuss how we can meet our energy challenge.

“As the world transitions to clean energy, efficiency can make the transition cheaper, faster and more beneficial across all sectors of our economies.
Indeed, there is no realistic, or affordable, energy development strategy that is not led by energy efficiency.”
IEA ENERGY EFFICIENCY REPORT 2016

WHO WILL ATTEND? The Conference will bring together the entire value chain of the clean energy and power generation industry; Government and regulatory bodies, producers, buyers – current and potential, technology solution providers, innovators, supply chain partners, end users, international law firms, traders and international associations.

THE EVENT

REASONS TO ATTEND

The 2015 United Nations Climate Change Conference in Paris resulted in arguably the most significant climate change agreement to date. On December 12, 2015 delegates from 196 countries reached an ambitious agreement to cap global warming to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels. US President Barack Obama called the agreement “a turning point for the world”.
