IES (International Exhibition Services) announces the appointment of Alain Marhic as new Commercial Director to further expand their growing portfolio of energy exhibitions and events. Alain Marhic’s arrival coincides with the launch of the Doha International Sustainable Energy Conference and Exhibition which is fully supported of the Ministry of Energy and The State of Qatar.
The conference will take place in Spring 2018 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC) on the 19th – 21st of March 2018, www.dohaenergyexpo.com. Its aim is to be a meeting point for the professionals of the gas value chain, renewable energy and environment. 300 exhibitors and over 1,000 delegates are expected to take part in this most anticipated event.
Alain Marhic will lead the sales and business development of this premier energy event in Qatar which is set to become a vital platform for all stakeholders within the GCC region. Prior to joining IES, Alain Marhic founded BME Global and established it as a leading B2B event organiser trusted by the key Saudi government organisations such as the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, Saudi Aramco, SABIC, KA.CARE, the Ministry of Water and Environment (through GAMEP) and the Ministry of Energy.
Alain Marhic comes with a wealth of experience in the industry having successfully launched and developed 60 shows dedicated to the fastest growing sectors in the Gulf region such the Saudi Downstream Forum or the Gulf Environment Forum.
